If you follow this at all (all 2 or 3 of you – maybe more someday) you’ll notice I haven’t posted in a long time. That’s because I’ve gone through a number of life event changes. Things/events that can make or break a person. I’ve decided to succeed.
First, I’m now retired about 4 years and I just turned 70. Also just had major surgery (cancer) and my wife’s not doing so hot either. Oh, yeah, and there’s more but I need not go into any more. Did I flounder? Yeah, sure. But, given the tools in my book, “It’s Your Choice,” I have now overcome these obstacles and am feeling great and doing well. Believe it or not I’ve found ways to capitalize on each of these potential set backs.
Since I had to come off blood thinners to have the surgery I got that tattoo I’ve wanted for years, a bald eagle in flight. It’s a beauty! I’m back to promoting my book because I really do believe it is helpful and can be of help to many others. Hell, I’ll just about give it away if people will only listen to the message and follow their own thoughts. The cancer and surgery have only served to reinforce how temporary everything is and that each day is to be celebrated.
I even decided to teach myself to paint and set a goal of at least one painting a month. So far I’ve done nine and I’m currently working on two more. Oh, and I’ve written a children’s book soon to be published by Kitsap Publishing.
If I can find the positives in all this, you can too. Read the book. Practice the lessons. Be your own guide and set your goals to happiness and success on your terms.
